Warranty
Guarantees:
America Hears guaranties that you will be satisfied with our hearing aids. If you are not, you may return them, undamaged, along with all of
the included accessories within sixty (60) days from the date of invoice and receive a full refund of the purchase price.
New Instrument Warranty:
America Hears warranties all hearing aids for a period of one year from the date of invoice unless otherwise specified. This one-year warranty
covers repairs due to fit and/or function that occur during the normal use of the instruments. An extension of one-year may be added at the
time the hearing aids are purchased.
The one-year warranty does not cover misuse or excessive damage to the hearing instruments and it does not cover the loss of an
instrument. Excessive damage includes, but is not limited to: Hearing instruments that have been crushed (stepped on or run over), hearing instruments that a pet has chewed, hearing instruments that have been over exposed to moisture (worn in the shower, pool, long exposure
to high humidity areas), a hearing instrument that has been overexposed to heat (stored in glove compartment of car, dried in a microwave
or oven), and hearing instruments damaged incurred in shipping. America Hears shall, at its sole discretion, determine if a hearing instrument
is damaged beyond repair and therefore not covered under the standard repair warranty. This warranty does not cover the replacement of
earmolds, acoustic tubes or ear tips.
Following expiration of the one-year warranty, or the extended warranty if applicable, America Hears will charge for repairs to the hearing instruments. All the packaging materials necessary to send hearing instruments to America Hears for repair are available from America
Hears upon request. Should you choose not to use this packaging, you are responsible for any damage which occurs during transit from
you to America Hears. If hearing instruments are received with excessive damage, the damage may not be covered under the repair
warranty. The warranty does not cover shipping costs. Repair service fees for hearing instruments that are out of warranty are shown on
the prices page.
Special Warranties:
Replacement of RITE receiver assemblies/tubes is limited to two replacements during the one-year warranty. The defective tube must be
returned to America Hears before a replacement will be provided. RITE receiver assemblies/tubes are not covered under the extended
repair warranty.
Replacement RITE receiver assemblies/tubes purchased from America Hears that are not proved by America Hears as replacement items
under the terms of the one-year repair warranty, are warranted for a period of sixty (60) days from the date the replacement RITE receiver assemblies/tubes are purchased.
Virtual Office flex connectors are warranted for sixty (60) days from date of purchase of the hearing instruments.
Out of Warranty Repair Service:
After expiration of the standard one (1) year or two (2) year extended repair warranty, repairs will be performed as set forth in the repair
schedule on the hearing instruments Pricing page. If repairs are performed by America Hears after expiration of the included or extended
warranty, the repaired hearing instruments will be warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of the invoice for those repairs.
Payment in advance for all out of warranty repairs and clean and check services is required.
