Your hearing loss is as unique as your finger print, but unlike your finger print, hearing loss changes with time. In order for your hearing aids to be effective, each one must be specifically programmed to your unique hearing loss at the time of purchase. It also must have the capacity to be re-programmed quickly and easily to your subjective listening preference during an initial adjustment period, as well as when your hearing loss changes.
Before your hearing aids are sent to you, they are programmed to meet your specific requirements. For the majority of our users, the initial program setting is the optimum solution; however, minor adjustments may be necessary both initially and periodically in order to achieve optimal hearing levels.
For our local customers, adjustments can be made by appointment in our fitting center by one of our staff audiologists or licensed hearing aid fitters.
For our Online customers, America Hears offers our proprietary Virtual Office software and programming kit which is everything you need to make your own adjustments or download adjustments made by our hearing professionals into your hearing aid via the internet. We have made the process as simple as sending and receiving email.
The Programming package is only available to online customers who have purchased their hearing aid thru AHI online.
